So, I get responses back from eBay sellers, and in the Mail application, the images (logo, etc.) DESATURATE!!! I kid you not. So I go to select the images (using the mouse), and they appear normal again.

I swear, I thought I was going crazy. Try it.

Umm...desaturate? What does that mean? Do you mean color saturation?

Yes, the colors of the eBay images are desaturated.

Then, select them with your mouse, and they resaturate. Just. Weird.

Are these images just selected or highlighted? And when you click them they get deselected.

I'm not seeing the issue.

I swear I am, guys.

step a) send a message to an ebay member.
get a reply.

b) view images in mail...

desaturated images!

Then, you select the mail message contents, and bam, they are resaturated again. So weird. I guess that title's misleading, because I am indeed, crazy already.

Sounds like a ColorSync profile issue. Try selecting the default profile in Displays-> Color and see if the issue persist.
