Hi there. Is there any way to get rid of the menubar shadow? I tried shadowkiller, but it only did the apps.
Thanks, V A

If you'll recall, Valen was the Shadow killer on Minbar. He led them to victory a thousand years ago by taking the Babylon 4 station back in time!

In all seriousness though, I wish there was a way to modify the Menubar shadow like you can regular windows. WindowShadesX should have that built-in. I think it should have the same style shadow as regular windows. My window and menu shadows don't match my menubars weird one.

I have them set to 3 to the right, 3 down and a spread of 1. Makes for a nice solid unblurred shadow. Even Konfab widgets pick it up nicely. But the menubar's unstandard shadow just throws it all off. I just wish WindowShades X could control both the menubar's shadow and the Finder Desktop icons shadows so all my shadows could match.

I have that, but the current version doesn't seem to be working on hiding the shadow. The app's pretty much made as a desktop picture changer with menubar shadow hiding capability. But I don't need a changer, just a hidden or modified shadow, but it doesn't even want to work. Do I have to log out and in? I'm not paying $23 just to hide my shadow. I'll just live with it. (Too bad it's not just an image you can modify.)

Try this. It's free but you will need to download Konfabulator (also free).
