Hello, I was severely bored so started to click many mouse buttons at once and all of a sudden a window came up that had something i found rather odd in it.

Note where reload would usually be there is now an option called "Super-Reload" it did just about the same thing as regular reload.

It was I believe the combination of shift+control+click that poped this odd window up.

Weird huh?

Any combo with option or shift in it brings that up - apple+option, control+shift, and combinations thereof, etc.

It takes longer than a normal reload, as it requests fresh data straight form the server, discarding local copies (and cached copies at the ISP's proxy server etc) - it refreshes every image, and every piece of HTML on the desired page.

If it's any consolation, I knew that too.

On Netscape, I believe it's CMD+Refresh to do a super-reload. Very handy when testing web sites.

Actually, I'm surprised you never noticed this! The "super reload" been around since the first betas of Netscape 1.0 in 1995, IIRC.

I would have told you but I'm lazy and slow .

How about this though!

On IE (at least for Windows) you can do the same thing by holding CTRL while clicking the refresh button on the toolbar.

lol probably.

i should lengthen the delay after it finishes with the animated part.

it appears that 5 sec isnt long enough...

and make it transparent.

Going back to the original topic here (no, I don't have any huge sigs ), in Netscape the super reload thing works when you hold down the option key and click the reload button. If you use the contextual menu, hold down shift and bring it up. If you hold down option and get the contextual menu, you get an option to go back one site (instead of one page).
