I just got a new 17" Apple studio Display I love it, but it will only display 640 by 480 with my old IMS twinturbo video card (4 meg). Because of this I am using my motherboard video on my 8500. I only have 2 megs of v-ram on the motherboard, plus the Twinturbo is much faster. I have tried some troubleshooting but nothing seems to help. One thing that I havent tried, I have a resolution adapter for an old fixed frequency monitor. I believe if I was to use this I would be able to get it to work, but at highest of 1152 by 870, which is not bad but it will probobly also not allow me to switch down resolution (for games).
Any ideas?
