I picked up a 190cs several weeks ago, for throw in the backpack and go type school activities. Of course, it came with the standard, blurry passive-matrix lcd. I raided a b0rked 5300 for parts, and installed a video card and nicer, active-matrix lcd. Unfortunately, the new lcd flickers, just as the old one did. I had chalked it up to the terrible old lcd, but now I'm not so sure.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? It is most apparent over grey colors, but if I change the desktop background to a solid color, it almost looks like a light "fish bone" pattern that you might see on a slightly off catv signal. The external monitor image is pristine.
