The "Quaker man" or "Q.O.G." is not an actual person. His image is that of a man dressed in the Quaker garb, chosen because the Quaker faith projected the values of honesty, [and] integrity

Not bad, I know some of my friends parents who did not let them have any sweet type food until they were in high school or bought it themselves from allowance.

Same, except this backfired horribly, because whenever I went to friends' houses I would go on a sugar rampage and eat all the sugary cereals and candy in sight. I got a couple calls home about that one...

The point of my post there was to state that he has no "official" name or backing, unlike other characters on cereal boxes who have a name and such. The quaker character was just designed and with no story or name. So stating what I did would be technically how you would respond to what is his name.

They sell some large wicked action figures of all these cereal box characters. I saw them in store the other day. Some are 8 inches tall and some are something like 20 inches tall and in a choco-car or something.

European cereals suck

Sure we have Kellogg's brands, but no General Mills except the atrocious co-ops with Nestlé such as Nesquik Cocoa Puffs.. I just hope General Mills didn't screw up Nesquik for Americans in the same way.
