Greetings,

Is there a way to make terminal appear without the menubar? An equivalent to gnome-terminal --hide-menubar. Basically I want a terminal that is borderless and that does not contain a menubar at the top. In essence it would "blend" into the desktop - Nice way to tail -f logs for example.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Back in Tiger there was a hack called "Visor".

Old product page: http://docs.blacktree.com/visor/visor
New product page?: http://visor.binaryage.com/

I don't know its status as of now (haven't played with it for ages).

Edit: or DTerm maybe? [haven't used that either.]
