I have an iBook G4/12" 800. I'm averaging 4 hours for regular use (Safari, Mail, NetNewsWire, iChat, Fire). I only get 5 hours if its strictly typing/reading email. Play a game (like Neverwinter Nights) and I can only get 2.5-3 hours.

I get around 7.5 hours these days, it helps if you turn down the sceen brightness, if in a dark room you can turn it down to 1 prong on the scale.
12" 800mhz g4, 640mb, no airport or bluetooth

Looks like I need a replacement battery for my 12" iBook dual usb 500. It's 2.5 years old. I am getting only about 1/2 an hour now. I charges fully. Is there another trick to revive the battery other than letting it run down?
Thanks,
(
