Hi... My MacBook Pro is only a couple of days old, and has a strange issue. When I wake the computer up from sleep, some times the desktop is all garbled and distorted in colors. You can still see the outline of the desktop, but everything is distorted. The beachball is visible, but like everything else is distorted. The screen then shifts to another pattern shown below and then freezes, requiring a reboot. The first time it did not reboot, but thereafter it did.

My MacBook Pro is a 2.16 ghz, 2 gigs RAM, 100 gig 7200 rpm hard drive and 256 vram.

Any ideas? Should I bring it back? I am thinking I should, but this is my second one after the first had a dead pixel.

i had a similar problem and sent it back, getting the replacement on tuesday.
