I'm running 10.5 (now 10.5.1) on a Mac Pro and this weekend I noticed that the machine just logged out all users without any warning a couple of times. One time I was working in an Excel document and then out of the blue...I saw the light blue log out screen followed by the login window. The other user that was logged in was also logged out. I couldn't find other reports of this, but I wondered if anyone else has seen this. Thoughts?

I believe this occurs when the WindowServer process crashes.

Thanks! Do you know why that would happen? I didn't see this in 10.4.

No real good answer for this. Did you upgrade, archive and install, or erase and install?

I did an upgrade, although the system wasn't in place for very long.
