Hey everyone,

I am selling an almost new MacBook C2D 2.0/2GB/80 in white for a client. This MacBook is in excellent cosmetic condition however it sustained a spill from a full glass of white wine. The machine does not power up and the hard drive also did not independently power up during data recovery attempts. Presumably, the display is intact however untested. The case is in excellent condition. Comes with all original wrappings, power adapter and the memory modules are factory from Apple, if they are still useable.

$400 or best reasonable offer

Also, selling a full install of Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Windows. this is a full retail install and not an upgrade. Since moving fully to Mac, this is no longer needed as the old Windows machine was discarded.

$300 or best reasonable offer.

Shipping for each will be calculated based on buyer's location and distance from Daytona Beach, FL.

Please contact me for any info!

I really have no definite idea but I suspect the logic board an the hard drive at the minumum is damaged. The machine does not boot nor react to any power source and the hard drive was pulled and would not power up when connected to our data recovery rig. At this point, diagnosis was stopped and we offered the uni!

Would you be willing to part out the screen? I would give you $100 for it.

I will offer $375 shipped for the Macbook. I do ask that you test the RAM, however, and let me know if it works.

I'll give you $400 shipped, but it'd need to come to the UK (as slow/cheap as possible would be fine), let me know.

Hi osxpinot. Thanks for your offer but I have no way of testing the RAM. We have one other MacBook in the office but I don't plan on using it to test potentially bad RAM and end up with a second damaged machine.

Also, thanks JonoMarshall. Please let me know your exact address so I can find out what the shipping rate would be to your area.

chipchen, take another look at your PMs. I sent you a PM telling you that I'd take you offer and mark it sold in here since you are the buyer. You contacted me first, so I told you in the PM that it was yours. I also sent my PayPal info and everything.

Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll resend it.

Thanks!

Yea.. never got it. Last I knew, all I saw was sold in the thread and nothing in PMs. Must be forums problem. I apologize. I had actually tried PMing you also, but your PM box was full at the time.
