I liked it when Bugs Bunny dressed in drag.

And who was Te-Lah? I remember She-Rah (spelling), but not Te-Lah.

Yes, if I remember correctly her name was She-la. Skeletor had his own heroine named Evil-lynn.
Like He-Man and Prince Adam, She-la and Evil-lynn were the same toy buth with different colors.

Actually, it was She-Ra. She had a spinoff cartoon of her own too.

That's The Sorceress. The mistress of Castle Grayscull. She's cute, but no Teela...

Check out the new figure(s) here.

Scroll down to the bottom to see details of Teela and Orko. Those new figures look pretty sweet.

And I can't find a character list anywhere. Even on www.he-man.org (which is a great site otherwise).

Fine, but did you lust after her when you were 10? That's kinda the issue.

Maybe you are 10, and then it's fine

You never know with these kids nowadays, they are so internet-literate

No, I'm well into my twenties now. I think I started watching Urusei Yatsura sometime between the ages of fourteen and sixteen. It's still my favorite anime series. Heck, it's my favorite cartoon series.

As for when I was ten, I can't remember any of the cartoons I watched back then other than Garfield and Friends. I didn't lust after Arlene, Liz, Irma, Reba, Lanolin, or Jon's Mom back then. (I don't lust after any of them now, either.) Not that it matters; you didn't offer any of them as a choice.

Come to think of it, the only female cartoon character I liked at all when I was a kid was Wonder Woman. That was when I was 3-5 years-old, not ten. The Super Friends had long been cancelled by the time I was ten.

So, did anyone lust after Arlene, Liz, Irma, Reba, Lanolin, or Jon's Mom when they were ten? Does anyone lust after them now?

Princess Daphne from the 80's games Dragons Lair and Dragons Lair 2: Time Warp

Kimberly from the 80's game Space Ace

Both were actually arcade games, but fully animated like a cartoon. So, to me, they're cartoons/animation in the classic style.

This is nitpicking, but Dragons Lair 2 wasn't released until the early nineties thanks to the laggy controls of the first game and the electronic gaming industry crash of 1984. (The animation for it was done in the 1980s, though.)

Nope you're right actually. I remember not seeing the game in arcades until late 1991 actually. I suppose I was generalizing when I wrote '80's.

As far as this list goes it's gotta be this little amazon woman:

When, oh when lord will they bring wonder woman to the big screen?

How could '80s games have '90s graphics? Hmm?

That Space Ace and dragons layer 'games' you are talking about have late '90s look. 32 bit computer and a CD ROM would be neccesary, neither of which we had in the 80s

We had 8-bit computers and 5 1/4" floppies!

WTF?

CD-ROMs date back to the early 80s.

Imagine if you will, a video game built around the top-of-the-line graphics processor of the era. Images are stored on a "laserdisk" (Imagine a 30 cm CD-ROM encased in a thin square box to protect it.) Rarely did you have more than one enemy at a time, and never more than five possible actions at a time (front, back, left, right, sword), so the non-image part of the game could have run on a simple computer of the era.

No they don't, they have early 80's cel animation looks!
The graphics came off a Laserdisc, not created by a computer.

One of them, Cliffhanger, used the animation from Hayao Miyazaki's "Lupin III."

cartoon-chicks haha. I think my standards were quite different when I was 10 years old. I liked the blonde smurf , Emily, maybe even a female auto-bot !
Basically any female character that cheered up any of my cartoons that featured merchandise.
You guys are all retared! She-la?!?! Do you realize you just made up a character? She-Ra is the Princess of Power; she was He-Man's cousin and had a separate T.V. show with her own cast of characters. She never appeared on the Masters of the Universe (although He-Man guest starred on her show). Tee-la was the daughter of Man-at-arms; she was one of the 5 main characters on the show. Her toy was similar to Evil-lynn, but it had a different head and accessories (at least you were on the money with Evil-lynn). Shelia is a girl's name which you are probably confusing with the other women.

As for a female smurf named Emily, was she the precursor to Smurfette (the one with the black hair)? Why would they name a smurf Emily?? The little girl smurf was named Sasset.

There were a lot of female Autobots that appeared in the cartoon, I always had a crush on Are-Cee, who was the pink car featured in the Movie and every episode thereafter (she was the only female central character).

See i am partial to that Betty & Veronica parallel, having a good girl and a bad girl. And since i was forced to watch other cartoons by my sister who was two years older I found the best combination..

By day a rich preppy blonde socialite :

And by night a slutty dressed rock star:

If only there were more girls like that in the world.

arial: too young, plus she has no legs!

lois from the family guy: one hot milf

i've always been partial to melody, the dizzy, blonde drummer from josie and the pussycats. josie's hot too, but you know, josie has standards. and she'd always be comparing you to alan. i think the average joe might actually have a shot with melody, cuz she's kinda ditzy, and she probably wouldn't care if you didn't make much money, or drive a nice car.

and speaking of joes, the ultimate hot cartoon chick:

http://www.starwars-rpg.net/swfa/jmm/joe/baroness.html

evil, wears tight leather outfits, and is a master of disguise. you like blondes? she can be a blonde! red-haired southern girl? the baroness can do it! she's the one for all your role playing needs!

i've thought way too much about this. i have a problem, and i need help...
