OK, so anybody got a line on the BT capabilities of these new Sony camcorders? Usable? Stupid? Mac compat?

from what ive read, its definitely not worth it. sony sort of used the Bluetooth standard as a way to do its own proprietary thing. the ONLY way to use the bluetooth on that camera is to buy a Sony Bluetooth 56k (only!) modem for extra money, at which point you can email/upload pictures or browse the web via the camera. the bluetooth interface is NOT to connect to a computer.

theres the bluetooth modem. $200. get a Canon GL2, cnet's top rated prosumer camcorder (and i'd trust canon optics over sony's)

GL2 is a bit above my needs. And I want something pretty tiny, but thanks again.
