Am I the only one who thinks that there seems to be a drought at Apple? Yeah the Intel news was shocking and OS 10.4 is alright but there is nothing going on there. Look at the Apple home page, for like three weeks they have been featuring Dashboard Widgets. While I think widgets are neat, they are not what Apple is about. Apple is about iPod, Cool laptops…
Anyone else feel it?

iPods are probably due for an update soon. The Intel news was geared towards developers for now.

Apple sort of blew its load at macworld and the couple months following, we had:
Mac Mini
iPod Shuffle
Updated iPod Mini
Updated Photo iPods
Updated Powerbooks, PowerMacs, iMacs, and eMacs
iLife '05
Tiger
iWork
Intel Transition
Motion 2, FC5
I don't think that's anything to shake a stick at.
Edit: Updated Xserve and XSan too.

Spending $7 Billion in cash on a "going out of business" party would be quite the event. I hope I'm invited.

Look at the windows side: you have to wait years till something new comes out. It's quite probable Leopard will see the light of day earlier than Longhorn

It's possible 10.6 will see the light of day before Longhorn
That said I'm HOPING within the next few months iBooks get updated. I realize that there's not much to update about em but... I'm hoping... and I would like to see the Mac mini get an update.

Yeah, I was at their so-called "campus" just this morning. No parties, no hot coeds, no beer, just people working. Man, Apple sucks these days . . .

10.6? Hell, I heard that 10.8.9 was due any day now...why the hell is Apple waiting? Forget it I'm switching to live boot OS' only! Knoppix here I come!
