Wasn't the designer of the Nike logo a student who was paid something like $50 for the design?

I also heard that many years after the fact, Nike grew a conscience and went back and gave her a wad of cash. I don't know the amount, or if lawyers were involved, but apperently, she's happy.

Yes, it was some pitiful amount of cash. And as someone else stated, later Nike came back and instead of a wad of cash, gave her tons of stock. She's doing well now, for sure. It all worked out in the end.

I'm all about a union and keeping the riff-raff out. I've been railing against depressed pricing for years.

I was told once by my bosses boss, "A monkey could do your job".
