This is my question:
Do I need a firewall (and where can I get one for OS X) or is it possible to protect my mac in an other way?

Someone posted a thing about how to turn off/on your ports for protection - not sure if I saw that here or somewhere else... anyone seen that info? Might want to try a search on the OSX forum for that.

Found a very short thread here: http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/Foru...ML/002543.html

It bascially suggests trying BrickHouse which you can find at Version Tracker.com. I tried it a few days ago and it seemed to work okay.... but I personally would prefer either a quicky on how to do it myself in the command line or a program w/ a slightly more intuitive interface.
