Sunrocket.com: Internet phone service. Any good?

I got a flyer in the mail for http://sunrocket.com/ and its internet-based phone service.
Since it is $199 a year and I am paying about $450 to $600 for crappy local phone service, I am seriously considering switching.
Does anybody have this service? Is it any good? Is it transparent to use compared to analog phone service?
I just wired my house for phone lines in every room. Can I use I ordinary phones with this VOIP system or do I have to have special phones?
Any comments are happily accepted.

I haven't heard of this company before. What would make you automatically consider this particular VOIP service over any other?

While they look good, their service area and features are pretty slim.
Look at Vonage, they have the same price-point, are an established company, and have had very good reviews.

We too were thinking about getting a Vonage account. But then, we use Skype for international calls and our cellphones for local calls. I don't miss having no landline at all.
Having said that, I have heard very good things about Vonage.

I'm not focusing on this company, but their flyer came in the mail and now i'm really considering dropping the land line since my cable-modem service is fast and fairly flawless.
Does anybody here actually use internet phone frequently?

SunRocket is dead.
I got reasonable service for the price for about 2 years. I just hope they don't try to charge me another $199 now that my service has just ended.
