I haven't tried burning a CD, but I can't create/mount disk images -- it results in an error. I reinstalled Toast 3.5.7 and had the same problem. I finally had to boot from a Jaz that had 8.6 installed.

I burned a CD yesterday. Everything went OK. I just burned files and folders, so nothing fancy. An what I didn't do was create a diskimage first...

Burnt several discs with Toast 4.0 and MacOS 9,0 -- it's a go. Everything from audio CDs to direct SCSI copies to a UDF DirectCD disc.
