Not too bad! If I wasn't an Apple Purist (Except for the mouse) I would be seriously considering either that one or the Dell. But alas, I must have Apple so I got the Apple Cinnamon. But that one doesn't look too bad.
What did it cost before the rebate?

Heh -- I consider myself an Apple purist at times, but even I could see the better value of a Dell 2001FP over the 20" Cinema Display. More pixels, more connection options -- at about roughly half the price.
If the price/features were closer, I'd buy the Cinema display in a heartbeat.

Thanks. It was $450 with a $50 rebate. I too would have liked to have the 20" ACD, but I personally just couldn't justify the extra cash for it.

The Dell doesn't have more pixels. It's the same LCD screen!

I apologize if this is the wrong place for this post but if you are using a Mini with a Dell Monitor and third party keyboard, what are your options for a power button other than the power button on the back of the computer.
Also, bembol, I really like that desk. Where did you get it?
Thanks

The same as they would be if you have any other screen and any other keyboard....
Apple used to include power buttons on their keyboards, but don't anymore. Also, there is a power button on the side of the cinema displays, but that just allows you to turn off the system, not turn it on. If you are like nearly all other mac users, then you will sleep the machine and not shut it down, therefore you can just use the keyboard to wake the machine from sleep.

I don't get why they took the power button off the keyboards.
Someone told me USB couldn't do the powering thing. But that's completely false. I plugged my older first gen iMac keyboard into my computer and pressed Power and it worked fine. Besides, the Apple Cinnamon Displays do the same thing (Albeit powering down only.) through their USB. Just seems silly they removed it.

It's to protect the screen when shipping from scratches, you're supposed to take it off when it gets there.

That's an interesting setup, kardinal.
I see you have the older style LinkSys wireless routers. We had that one for a while until it died. When we replaced it with the updated version it was much thinner. They left off two LED's for each port and made it almost an inch thinner. I forgot how big the old one was.
Nice monitor. Looks Mac like.

Ya I know, i don't know how anyone can. I mean I always bang my legs on that wooden shelf and why would I want to put my head between my legs to get something out from the printer?
