I want to know the first thing I should do if I get my iPhone damaged by water. Usually I know to not power on the device and dry it up. What are the other things? I asked this because this issue happened to few of my friends including my bestie.

Thank you.

Standard procedure is to fill a ziploc bag full of rice, put the phone in, and seal it.

Let it sit sealed up for as long as you can you can handle waiting. At least a couple days.

The rice will slowly absorb all the moisture.
