Does anyone know of a quick way to add comments to files from within Finder? Something less keystroke-intensive than getting info, mousing to the comment triangle, and then entering the comments?
(Actually, the keystrokes are fine, but I hate to take my hands off the keys to use the mouse/trackpad.)
Thanks,
Jacob

Look for "commentator Mac" in Google. It's a free Applescript which gives you the ability to add comments to files without having to open them the way you described.

If you want to comment multiple files, try click CMD + Option I and open the comment triangle. When you select another file, that get info palette will change.

Appleman- I think that Applescript is what I'm looking for, but the only Commentator script I've found isn't for OS X!
Oh well....
Thanks, though

I'll look it up for you or if you want I can send it by email to you. I saved it as run-only so now I don't know how to get to the script itself :-(
Just let me know if you want it to be emailed.
The sript is an app you drag files on and the you can change all the comments in one click, quite nice.
