I'm at home working. Eating an apple. Reviewing a document that needs to be sent out through FedEx in about an hour - and I know it won't because I'm not in the mood to drive right now - and I'm going to drink a glass of milk.

What are you doing?

Just ended a long conversation in a language I really don't know too well. It was fun! Drinking a glass of water now though, preparing to throw myself in the sofa to watch Dr. Strangelove before going to bed.

Man, my life is the best at the mo!

I'm working, reading and replying emails, scheduling a meeting for Friday with the people of Aerolíneas Argentinas to which I assist in tax litigation matters and trying to focus in an article I plan to publish in the law section of a business specialiced newspaper (El Cronista Comercial).
The good side is that I'm doing this at home.

Taking a break from thinking about how to save civilization. May take a nap.

Looking at porn so I can jack off before taking a nap.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Working from the living room (some CSS work on a site), watching an X-Files rerun and occassionally mavelling at the great sound coming through my new headphones/BitHead amplifier.

I'm searching for freebie CSS templates to use on a web site, since I'm too lazy to bother to learn how to do it myself and too cheap to pay someone else to do it.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

Playing Football Manager 2006, watching MythBusters, going through stats on a study I'm working on, talking to my mother on the phone about nothing, trying to decide what would constitute cheating on a gf (much more difficult than I thought to decide where to "draw the line"), and reading MacNN of course.

Just Previously: gave the daughter her bed-time bath, read her a couple books ("What Puppies Teach us", and "Daddy and I") kissed her little forehead, prayed with her, tucked her into her bed, turned off the light and said "Good night sweet one, I love you and I'll see you in the morning".

But right now I'm pressing the letter "a" over and over.

I'm now sitting in JFK, and I manged to get good and pieeyed between florida and here. The two birds sitting next to me managed to smuggle on some vodka, but this is as far as they were going so now I'm kind of dicked. Dan the man, haul your ass up from Ithaca and pick me up at the airport, I now firmly believe I can not drive. Cody stood me up for coffee, so now it's all on you to reafirm my faith in the goodness of macnners. or something.

All I can say right now is god bless the two fiftyish sisters with the foresight to bring the grey goose on the plane. and better yet, to share with the guy in the isle seat.

If you can find a copy of, "Kitty's New Doll" you should. It is sooo good it made me cry. It's a short, sweet story.

Here. You can pick one up for a buck & s/h.

Is that you that called ThinkInsane? Someone called me with a foreign unrecognizable area code and I didn't pick up. I would have met you for coffee and then some! I had a freaking crappy night.

I went down to Boca Raton for something work-related, home of the arch bitches all driving like crap with their bleached fake hair and fake nails in their Mercedes' and Lexus's, and brought the family with me. I thought I'd get something dropped off and I'd take the kids to supper.

Well, I took my children out to dinner where they were noisy and loud but at least THEY had fun, got back to my car and the freaking dog chewed up my paperwork! Of all the things he could have dug out and chewed, it was my WORK.

Then, on the drive back north every single lane of the freeway is shut. Some loser in a Town Car sideswipes my Suburban! I graciously let a Infinity G35 in in front of me and then this LOSER in the Town Car revs the motor and sideswipes my truck trying to ALSO get in. The traffic was at a standstill and I slammed the truck into park and ran up to him in his car and pounded on his window and told him to get out of his car and look at my Suburban. He yelled, "I'm sorry!" Then looked away. He wouldn't get out! What a coward! He didn't do anything to the truck - he tapped the bumper - but he's a pansy assed bastard to do something like that. A guy in a truck yelled, "You GO lady! He's an ass! He cut me off back aways!" I swear, I'm lucky I'm not in jail. If he'd gotten out and touched me I'd have punched him in the face or the neck. (Cash would have been proud of me. )

Anyway, my husband hauled me back to the Suburban and I drove home and now I'm trying to REDO the work the darned dog ate.

So, how is everyone else's night?

Sorry I missed you ThinkInsane!
