anybody out there know how to get the main play/prev.next buttons in itunes to 'merge' together (as they do on the mini player)?

here's what i mean:



main play/prev/next buttons


mini player play/prev/next buttons

thanks in advance for any ideas

I had this problem. From what I can tell after days of trying and coming back to it, it can't be done (to the best of my knowledge). The one thing I didn't try was to create an image that is longer lenght-wise despite the obvious restrictions. I haven't edited themes in a long while, but it's an idea that just popped into my head that never occurred to me earlier.

thanks. i actually widened the main play button template by 4 pixels on each side and when applied i ended up with the default play button poking through a rectangular mask. i've scoured the screenshot galleries and its become obvious that shots of expanded itunes windows is quite rare.

i guess i might have to go to plan b.
