It's not Tatooine. It was stated the planet is Jaku (spelling?)

So whatever script you read was probably wrong.

"My father has it" ?!?!?

I'm excited. The flight scenes look awesome. I wish there was a game development studio as talented as Factor5 which could make a dog-fighting game to tie into the movie.

Definitely looking forward to this movie. I'm optimistic about this movie.... of course after the prequels my bar is pretty low for disappointment.

Cheers

It will. It's basically Battlefield. The good news is there's a segment of the BF population who does nothing but use jets and wait for them to spawn, so you can always do that.

No, it's more like Rogue Squadron from Factor 5 which mixed both.

Great trailer - continued the nostalgic feel and pushed all the right buttons. Still don't have a lot of faith in Abrams to make anything other than a "good" movie at best - and given the prequels, that would probably be considered a success - but I'll try to be mildly optimistic that he can make something special.

Call me crazy, but I expect Battlefront to be like, well, Battlefront. Rather than another series.

I guess I'm the lone voice of dissent.

I thought this trailer took almost everything mysterious about the first trailer and made it pedestrian.

Also, you're ****ing 80, Solo. Time for a new outfit.

I wonder why Chewbacca didn't age at all - no gray, no balding, no pot belly. Hmmm.

I fully expect a Jar-Jar / Qui-Gon easter egg in the movies; with Jar-Jar joining Qui-Gon, Anikan, Obi-Wan, Yoda. But Sam Jackson left out of course, he doesn't have time for that nonsense. Ha!

He thought about it.

The Star Wars prequel trilogy had some — well, let's just say "issues" and move on — but few things could top the utter loathing many feel for goofy Gungan Jar Jar Binks. Even Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams had it out for Jar Jar, he recently told Vanity Fair.

"I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks' bones in the desert there," Abrams told the publication. "I'm serious! Only three people will notice, but they'll love it."

I love the idea of 50% of the stormtroopers being undercover celebrities who just wanted to be a part of the films. It would make for some great "I wonder who that is," speculation, and definitely some great behind-the-scenes photos.
