Ok I used to do the classic Seti@home and it was easy to use and setup.

Now a lot of things have changed. I have a core duo iMac and I'd like to participate but I have no idea where to start. This BOINC thing is talked about a lot. What's the easiest way to have a Seti@home type of thing working as a screensaver on my intel iMac? Where should I go. etc...

Universal version of Boinc Client is available here:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.p...e=mac_advanced

Then follow the directions here to setup Seti@Home: http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
(The directions are under the heading "Getting Started" on the left side).

Good Luck and Happy Crunching.

I think that there is a newer official version released on May 16, 2006
