...i wonder why? think about it, so far this week we have seen major software updates/releases:

-iMovie 3.0.3
-Final Cut Pro 4 available next week
-iSync 1.1
-Quicktime 6.3

Gearing up for WWDC I would assume. And I wouldn't go so far as to call these updates major, aside from FCP4 of course.

This will all pale in comparison to when the PPC 970 PowerMac/Xserve is announced.

(Sorry, no PowerBook PPC 970 for quite some time though.)

iSync 1.1 - 03 june
Quicktime 6.3 - 03 june
iMovie 3.0.3 - 03 june
Keynote 1.1 - 04 june
FCP4 (release announcement)- 05 june

so by my calendar thats 6 noteable updates/announcement in a 10 day window.

now please correct me if i am wrong, but i can not recall that many updates from Apple in so short a time window as that before.

Don't forget the MPEG-2 update... Well, I guess that would be part of QT for some...

Well lets see, they put our QT 6.3, and then a bunch of apps that can take advantage of QT 6.3 new features...

iMovie, Keynote and Finalcut all where to take advantage of imptrovments in QT6.3

And the iTuns update was more of a legal update to stop the islurps of the world, so I wouldnt call it an update...

So realy its just :

1. QT (and apps to take advantage of QT)
2. iSync

And even then the QT update added features for mobile phones, so all these update fit together and make sence to be released together...
