The RC5 client has a dialup option, that make the client only try and connect to the keyserver if the computer is already connected to the internet. And if its not conected, it won't try to dial up. My friend is goona let me put RC5 on his new iMac, but he uses AOL (yeah I know) and I wanna make sure his computer isn't trying to dial up the internet in the middle of the night. Has anyone used thier client like this, does it work?

In theory, this method is fine. I used to do it with my machines before I got broadband. However, when I set up RC-5 on my gf's Pismo I could never get it to update over AOL. (Always worked fine on a standard PPP ISP connection, though.)

That was on OS 9 - I don't know if it's any different with the new AOL for Mac OS X...
