If the rest of us wait long enough to get our orders shipped, or they push our dates back any further maybe we will be elligible for the next revision!

Or better yet! We could all(including you lucky few who have gotten theirs) stand up for ourselves, put our foot down and make a difference in the eyes of apple. We could cancel the remaining powerBook orders, send back those that have shipped and demand they upgrade the model to current up to date revisions and boycott them until they do so!

No?

Okay, guess I will be an eager little apple crack head and do what they tell me is good for me. Maybe if I go to one of the apple stores and hang out 24/7 some lucky individual that just walked in off the street with no reserve that picked up a new 17 will let me touch the box!

Well, yeah Apple could do that...

Doesn't sound like a revision is anywhere in sight I'm afraid to tell you. Read the reviews. No one is what I would say... "unhappy" with their 17-inch powerbooks.

Sorry. Raise your fuss about it. If it gets us our powerbooks faster, then we'll give you the credit, but it seems like the best plan is to just wait. Or to gather up the money and buy one in the retail store.
