Just noticed that I can now center, tile, strech to fill screen, or fill screen when setting desktop pictures...

How long has this been here?
It has to be recent...but very welcome!
Just curious.

Assuming everyone here is is asking seriously ... that option appears when you are non-standard desktop pictures (such as from a personal picture folder). The option disappears if you set the desktop with one of Apple's standard desktop images or with other desktop images that exactly fit the size of your screen. No need for "tile" and "center" options in that case.

So, its a "smart" option and only provides the dropdown when its applicable and does not provide the dropdown when it isn't applicable.

Capiche ??

I didn't realise that it only appeared for some images. But yeah, this feature was added with Jaguar.
