So I used Quicktime Pro extensively to create movies from image sequences. It appears that all image sequence functionality is gone from Quicktime X. I've also noticed that Quicktime 7 now appears in my Utilities folder.

Am I supposed to use Quicktime 7 to continue using the Pro features? Or am I just unable to find the equivalent of "open image sequence" in Quicktime X?

OK. Just a bit bizarre that they would split the functionality into two programs... (of the same name!)

It's probably just like iMovie HD and iMovie '08. They haven't yet reimplemented everything in the new Quicktime X player so they let you keep the old v7 player. It's likely the next release of Quicktime X will include all the old features much like iMovie '09 does.

Thats how Apple does everything,

Most users are only going to use/need the share menu.

image sequences..... most people are not going to even know what that is.

It does suck that now we have to use 2 diff apps, Agreed,

automator actions and some new services might help you out.

Hope this helps
