I am looking for a Digital Camera and I need to order it soon. If anyone can send me to a site or recommend a good camera between $250-$400 I would really appreciate it!

Thanks
Nick

Well, I've had my Nikon 880 for just over a year now...love it...great pix...but probably still a bit more than what you want to spend....

try having a read here to start: MacReviewZone Digital Cameras - I'm sure some of the cameras have been discontinued/upgraded and probably some of the prices have changed too....but hey, it's a start.....

I love Kodak myself. Great quality, intuitive interface, etc. The DX3600 is the model you shoudl look at for the price range you are in.

I'd go with the Canon Powershot A10. I got one for $350, and it's awesome. Good zoom too. I'd stay away from Kodak, their cameras just feel cheap. Go to an electronics store where they let you try the cameras out (i.e. Best Buy) and feel the Kodaks, you'll know what I mean. =)

All glory to the hypnotoad.

The Nikon USA site has several reconditioned items on sale: www.thenikonmall.com/cgi-bin/sgdynamo.exe?UID=2001081818432854&HTNAME=home.htm

The Olympus 2020(which we have), 3030 and 3040 probably have the greatest flexibility as far as manual settings for f/stop and shutter speed, which can be very helpful for some uses. We use our 2020 with studio flash and an external flash meter, which is hard to do with the automatic-only models.

http://www.stevesdigicams.com and http://www.dcresource.com are great starting points for identifying the camera best suited for you.
