Hello All!

This iBook comes with:
- Brand new 40GB (vs the standard 30 GB that came in it) hard drive replaced last week under warranty by Certified Apple Technician.
- Airport Extreme Wireless Card
- Standard 256 RAM
- Combo Drive
- Power Adapter
- Contour silver mini mouse
- OS 10.4 installed by Technician (so… no disc)
- iLife ’05 CD (not the DVD though the machine does have a DVD drive, so you could upgrade to iLife ’06 DVD)
- Original iBook CDs and manuals (OS 10.0.3)
- 6 months left on AppleCare

The condition:
- Hairline crack on upper right of display casing- does not affect display)
- Normal minor scratches to the shiny white exterior
- Normal wear marks on the hand rest area

It actually has not been used for nearly a year due to the fact that we had to wait for the Applecare box to get out of storage to replace the hard drive so the life of everything (display, battery, drive) is in much better condition than others of this era.

$550 +shipping

New Price: How about $500 shipped?

New NEW Price: $450 shipped!

Wow, is that some kind of joke?

I got more than that for my G4 iBook, and I was selling it for parts.

For the record, the $550+shipping seems to be a very fair price for this. Hell, I'd jump on it if I wasn't getting a 17" MBP tomorrow

for a 3 year old laptop with 256 mb ram, and a cracked bezel? not even worth it.

Considering I paid $500 for something older that runs better than my old G4 1.2 Ghz iBook with much worse flaws than a cracked bezel, I'd say not. But to each his own. Good luck trying to get something like this for $250+shipping.

I'm willing to accept offers, but not $250, I'm sorry.

It's a solid machine with a new hard drive and very little use.

well sorry for the lowball, after looking into PBG4 12 inchers for the past few days, and I am willing to offer you a mac mini 1.42 with 1gb ram, 80gb hd, combo drive. has all original packaging and install disks. I'd be willing to pay extra cash, or I can throw in a black 30gb video iPod(if you gave me $50)

Let me know if that'd be a fair trade.

Sorry. I don't need a Mac Mini or an ipod. I need money.

Though your offer does seem more reasonable now.

Also, this is an iBook, not a Powerbook.

BUMP. Please consider buying...

Or feel free to let me know why it is not selling. I need cash for bills. So help is encouraged.

i think $400+shipping is about the best yr gonna get around here. it's a combo drive and it has, what is bascially, useless RAM that will have to be replaced with at least one stick of 512mb. these things take the price down, from say a powerbook 12" -- that i've seen posted for similar prices here and i personally would prefer a powerbook over an ibook, if given the choice.

if try it on ebay, you shouldn't have any problems getting $550 or close to it.

drop yr price to $450 and negotiate from there.

i'd take that guys offer for the mac mini and ipod, the market is greater for those items than the ibook.

just advice, nothing more.
as ever,
sonny

I think it's a good deal. I'd take it if I needed an iBook.

$250 is more than reasonable as an offer. It's not what you'd get on eBay, but people have no idea how to price these things and there's a good market these days for reselling these machines. The price as posted is ridiculous, considering the condition. I would recommend that you lower to $450 or less if you expect a sale.

Does this mean the iPod is for sale at $50? I'd take you up on that.

I can't a pic of the tiny crack. My camera won't focus that close. it's just above the rubber stop in the upper right corner of the bezel.

I only put that price because that's what I found on eBay. Plus, it still has warranty and a new Hard Drive.

I still think $250 is too low. The condition is not as bad as some are making it seem. Minor surface scratches are impossible on these things.

Pics to follow.

Here we go...

Like I said, couldn't focus on the crack so I drew it in- exaggeratingly so.

Is $500 shipped any more reasonable?

What method of payments do you want? My girlfriend is looking for a g4, and 450 seems a good deal.

I'm not making an offer, but I would just like to say that I checked eBay, and $450 is a good price for this item.
