I have a G4 (2x500) and an iBook (a new). I've hooked them together through a Ethernethub because there's also an iMac attached to the network.
now here's my question:
Is there an application that is able to synchronize folders (both ways)?
second Question:
Is there a way to sync MS Entourage (office 2001) between my iBook and G4??

If you're running OS 9 on both machines, mount the HDs of one machine onto the desktop of another (using AppleTalk), then use the File Synchronization control panel. It's great!

Yeah it works great, I do something similar with a firewire hdd. I put a folder on my desktop, and a folder on the fwire drive. When connected I run the file sync and then removw the contents of the desktop folder.

You should also check FoldersSynchronizer (see VersionTracker.com for details). It works with both OS 9.x and OS X 10.x.

Until we get a 3 lbs sub-PowerBook, the 12-inch PowerBook will do.
