While partitioning my Hs for windows in bootcamp assistant, the macbook shut down. I rebooted and ran the assistant again, it said that there was a artition error and I should repair it with disk utility. When I opened it up, disk utility only showed the one main partition. OS X runs fine, but bootcamp doesn't. I don't want to have to use the disc and re-install os x unless I really have to. Is there any other way?

You need to run Disk Utility from your OS X disc. Once the machine finishes booting, click on "Tools" and you'll see Disk Utility. That will test all of your drive, including the boot partition, and fix anything that needs fixing.

And next time, make sure you have the MacBook plugged in. All sorts of bad things can happen if it shuts down during something that actively affects the hard drive's structure-you seem to have gotten off lucky.
