Obama won. Now we need a landslide win.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

My father was in the Army for several years and served under several Commanders in Chief. He (my dad) told me that regardless of your feelings about the particular person, he is your boss. While President-Elect Obama is not who I voted for, he will be my president.

It was indeed, I almost choked up from the respect he projected. Very touching speech. It was good enough for me.

What a historic day. I'm glad our foreign relations are going to improve and the rest of the world will finally respect the U.S. again. I'm extremely happy to see Jesusland shrink too.

Did you not watch Obama's acceptance speech? You're supposed to be reaching out, trying to unite with people who didn't vote for him. President-elect Obama said so.

This is one for the History books. With Obama's win tonight, it elevates the United States to a position it hasn't held in 8 years; a position as a leader. The world can take the United States as being serious again.

How refreshing is it going to be to have a intelligent, rational, open, calm President?

It's power back to the people and away from Bush's cronies corporations.

Let the healing begin.
The Religious Right is neither.

That speech was lame.

Amazing that McCain's concession speech was way better. Oh the irony.

I'm quite serious though, I'm proud to see that America voted the right way this time - and in a landslide victory no less.

This is a historical day and both sides of the spectrum should be excited about the prospect of a change in standing on the international arena from now on.

This is just pathetic Turtle. That was a landmark speech, even McCain and Bush would concede to that.

Obama's speech tonight will be taught in schools along side MLK's Dream speech for the next 100 yrs. It was a truly historic moment.

McCain's speech, while good was still a concession speech; and will be a sound bite by the end of the week.

The best man won, get over it.
The Religious Right is neither.

It's not mocking.

The man talked about being not just the President of the Democrats, but the President of all Americans. If he's the leader, and our fellow poster is a supporter, he should consider taking that message to heart.

I think those are tasteless too, but perhaps a little leeway can be extended for tonight and tonight only while celebration is on the mind. Tomorrow though, I will have no empathy towards people who decide to gloat. There were Republicans in here that gloated when Bush won in 2004, but two wrongs don't make a right.
