My church has 5 iMac DV's that they use with an Airport Base Station for internet use. Recently they switched ISP's and no one remembers the password they set up to access the Base Station to change the configuration. They are "stuck" with my help since our Pastor is a Windoze guy (I pray for him daily) and no one else knows what the password was. I think I can reconfigure the Base Station if I can get "into" it with the correct password.

My question is: How can I over ride or disable the keychain to gain and access to the Base Station and choose a new password that we can remember?

Thanks for whatever help you folks can give.
It's not getting what you want, it's wanting what you've got.

Back up your files and do a clean install of the OS

Actually, I have no idea. Sorry, couldn't help myself!

This is really more a networking question, I think- but what if you
http://www.info.apple.com/support/downloads.html got that download,

2. Install the software on a machine with an Apple AirPort card.
3. Connect the ABS to the Ethernet network or to the individual machine using a crossover cable (some Macs now auto-sense and don't require a crossover cable).
4. Reset the ABS. This puts it in software update mode.
5. Run the AirPort Admin Utility in either OS 9 or X and click Configure.
6. The software recognizes the ABS and prompts to upgrade it to 2.02.
7. Click Continue, walk through configuration screens, and the ABS reboots.

That is- by upgrading it you might get rid of the password problem...yes?
