Hi there,
I just signed up for .mac
I'd like to have separate folders in my Public folder, each needing its own password to get to.
I'd like to have:
1. folder 1, with documents for my workmates, with a work-related password
2. a folder with photos for my family members, with a password just for them
3. a folder with my own files that I might need to get at, with my own personal password.
Is this possible? (I've read the Help section for iDisk, and it didn't help me)

Does anyone on this forum know anything about .mac or iDisk? Or should I be looking somewhere else for help? I'm happy to do so, if someone can advise a better place.

CHeck out the Apple discussion boards. (Under apple, support, discussion). You'll find a whole listing for .mac. There's probably something about the idisk feature, too. In fact, look under member services; several months ago members (I am one, but I don't know about separate folders, etc.) got free chapters from a book, all about idisk.
The heck with it -- I looked up the link for you. .mac is under "digital life" by the way. And there's a whole folder about idisk. .mac
