I've got a nokia 6600. It syncs over bluetooth just fine when I tell it to. What I want to know is, why doesn't it sync up on a regular basis without my having to tell it to? When I walk in the room for instance? Or at 6pm every night? Why do I have to open iSync to bring it up to speed?
Am I crazy here?

Yea, iSync used to do do automatic synchings with phones, and then Tiger came out, and iSync lost that feature. Looks like you have to do it manually now, which is a pain. Why? Why? Why?

I miss this also. It took me a while to realize I had to launch iSync to sync up my phone. I just assumed it always worked the old way until one day I went to call someone on the phone and their number wasn't there.

To make matters worse, adding the iSync icon to the menubar will only Sync with .Mac. Not sure why the devices in the iSync app can't be included in the Sync operation.
