Like many others, I run a Mac PPC clone on MacOS 8.6, but am uncertain as to what my OS options will be after 8.6. Will my 603e processor be capable of running Sonata (MacOS 8.7)?

it probably will. Mac OS X is only supposed to work on G3 machines, but it does work on an PM8500. if you are concerned about having problems, buy an upgrade card (prices are dropping), or buy an iMac. lemme know if that helps!
