Probably because that is what I was doing at the time. I hadn't uploaded a screenshot and I felt like doing something before I had to go to chemotherapy.

I had a new DT yesterday..

..but made another one today.. Today's is better..

Clicken for Biggen

The usual. Most notably, Natalie's Back! Why I didn't think of that before is beyond me. Next best thing to having a dedicated Widget. Four different custom textures make up the four tabs. The two middle tabs are URL's and the last is shortcuts to folders on my website. (For easy finding of images or sigs.) When I switch tabs, it does a nify slide animation. Very nice. On the first tab, at the bottom is four custom scripts I use to easily upload files to directories on my site. It has made life SOOO much easier. AppleScript is like a god.

The desktop is from a site called VladStudio. It used to be art.softshape.com. I like a lot of his work. The current one is "Waiting for Spring", a beautiful photograph. It just seems to go with the theme.

The song playing is "Karma In The Life". A merging of "Karma Police" by Radiohead and "A Day in the Life" by none other than The Beatles. Shows how well two different songs can go together. (And I don't mean like that Oasis thingy.)

The DragThing Docks are shown/hidden by way of a mouse button press.

Very cool, Makki.

Any chance you could provide a link to those icons?

TIA.

Gerrit, I'm always so impressed with your desktops and their minimal cleanliness and the fact that nearly each one is a study in organization and environment. I've never managed to successfully employ your 3-character icon set (there are a few essentials missing for me) but PlasterSTYL and Orbital are among my fave themes. Outside of your own handtooling (Themepark I assume) are you using other ware besides SS to switch all that stuff?

Cheers.

Instead of using an icon set, you could do something similar with Dragthing.

Thanks to all for your nice comments on my Orbital desktop.

@ ZXspectrum
No permissions were asked from Swiz or Laurent Baumann to release this mod - so far...

@ grayware
As I once offered to numbersix, if you PM me the 3 character codes you need, I'll be happy to make them for you.
Besides ThemePark and SS, I'm using Silk and TinkerTool to replace fonts (showing Myriad Apple Text), Konfabulator widget guiShade to remove menubar dropshadow, WindowShadeX to remove windows dropshadow, ClearDock.
