I was wondering if anyone else has experienced an intolerable loud clicking through the speakers (this is not a hard-drive click) like a Woodpecker from the minute the iBook powers up. Display is also flickering but only when dimmed or the iBook is in target disk mode, nice even grey screen!
This follows from a return from repair three days earlier where the LVDS hinge cable was replaced.
Tech support acknowledge it's a hardware problem and it goes back (again) tomorrow!
