I'm intrigued that anybody should get so incensed about the opinions of an ill-informed student from wherever whose trenchant opinions (or rather prejudices) border on bigotry. Please don't try and throw any First Amendment "freedom of speech" hokum back at me, it wasn't intended as a way of guarenteeing(?) the right to insult and/or offend people (or their opinions). I suggest at least reading it before responding along those lines.

Anyway, not everybody can afford the most state of the art computer, camcorder or piece of software. What is most offensive, therefore, is an attitude that attacks and ridicules those who, for whatever reason, lack the experience with or the opportunity EVER to own or work with such things!

Anyone interested in FILM, MUSIC etc. should appreciate the ultimate importance of CREATIVITY over whether the movie was made on Hi-8 or the album was recorded on a 4-track.

Why waste bandwidth with such hypocrisy? You tell me not to respond with first ammendment stuff, but you seem to be sleeping with the first ammendment.

Practice what you preach!

Honestly, I can express my views on a certain format of videotape or anything else without being insulted by some moron who has nothing better to do than write a bunch of crap about me. I happen to have a band, and I don't record on the best equipment possible. I can't afford it. I do not own any sort of digital camcorder, but I know what I'm saving up for. I do not own anything better than an iMac DV Special Edition, either. By the way, if anyone would like to check out my band, we're at http://www.mp3.com/mokw (our music is nothing like how I express my opinons, if you were wondering. It's cool electronic stuff). If I have insulted anyone by doing anything, I am sorry. Please do not form opinions without knowledge. I try not to, and I would appreciate if you also would not.
