Anyone know how to add custom alert sounds to OS X?

Also, is there a way to convert OS 9 sounds to OS X? OS 9 sounds don't play in OS X.

Thanks

The sound has to be converted to an ".aif" sound file and then moved to the "/System/Library/Sounds/" directory. You can convert your System 7 sound files (of type 'sfil') with SoundApp, a Classic app.
The server made a boo boo. (403)
