Just finished watching a nifty special on History Channel. Talked about the new color 20s, 50s, and 100s. They mention that for the first time they utilized computer technology to help in designing the U.S. currency. The guy was working on a Graphite G4 with Adobe Illustrator.

Just thought that was pretty cool.

Don't think they are being made yet. Still in the design phase.

That makes sense. The guy was using a G4. And judging by release date of the new bills, probably Illustrator 10 too.

I heard they were using Windows to design them at first, but then.....

yeah, but they went with OS X for the multi-lingual style.

OS 9 just didn't have it....
