I recently updated to 10.5.3 and started to notice a popping noise with the speakers. I've searched it and it seems that other people have similar problems with 10.4.10 and such. But the popping doesn't occur when I start up the computer or wake it from sleep. It's completely random, but I can force it to happen by opening and closing dashboard many times in a row. So it pops once loudly, then during that time no sound could be heard when something is playing, then it pops loudly once again and everything is back to normal. It's extremely annoying since it takes up to 5 seconds between the two pops. I'm wondering if this is a hardware problem and I need to drag this thing to the apple store or if it's just a problem relating to the update.
