Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. .....
Oakland Raiders brushed the NY Jets off 30 to 10 points at Oakland today.
Can anyone say "divisional playoffs"!
Too bad about the 9ers.
I am so pleased with my team right now. Dumdee dah.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I'm a Jet's fan, but I figured the Jets would lose today. I think this year is the year for the Raiders. They got screwed royally last year.
Raiders vs Philly in the big one is my pick. I am pulling for Philly (because McNabb played for my Syracuse Orangemen).

I have the same pick, but I'll be torn. Coach Reid's a fellow alumnus (and a great human being), but I'd really like to see the Raiders get what should have been their's last year. Raiders vs. Gruden would be pretty interesting, though.

I rooted for the Jets, because they're local, but I like the Raiders well enough. I dislike the Titans but the Raiders will crush them like eggs. No fear there.
I don't like the 49ers because of their coach. I really hate Steve M. I think the Bucs can take Philly. A Bucs vs Raider superbowl would be awesome.

University of Miami Hurricanes Football Fan:
Santana Moss (Jets) is out; props to the Raiders.
Warren Sapp ~ what can I say? The ultimate athlete, team-player. Stats do not count but he is the ultimate team player.
Did anyone else see him lineup and block for the A-Train's Two Touchdowns?
No- one else mentioned the Bucs so I think I would put my 2 cents in and root for the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.
Thanks to Oakland for Gruden. The Bucs killed their Monkeys this season: Winning in weather under 40 degrees, and Scoring an offensive touchdown in the Postseason. WOO - HOOO!!
Their next goal:
Winning in Philly. an immobile McNabb is just what the Buc's need.

At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.

Hey look, the Raiders are two wins away from being the first team to win a Super Bowl and pull down Social Security checks at the same time!
So far I've only missed one pick in the playoffs - the Packers' loss to Atlanta. We picked the whole bracket before the playoffs started.
I've got the Titans v. Eagles in the Super Bowl and the Eagles winning.
Not to dismiss the AFC (my favorite conference, since thats where my Broncos are) but I think that the Tampa/Philly game winner wins the Super Bowl no matter who they play.

It's now or never for the Raiders. There won't be a "next year" for half the team!
I still love'em.
