This is a new thing that has only occurred since I installed 10.5. Twice now, after sleeping for a little while, I open the lid to my Ti and am greeted with a black screen. Nothing responds to any inputs and I have to do a hard re-start with the power button. I think it's only happened when the firewire cdrw is plugged in, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for any ideas

Please make sure it isn't the FireWire CD-RW screwing up your TiBook. It could be a million different things.

While drastic, a sure fix for this problem is reinstalling the operating system.
