So i have this Wii now, and it rocks and all, but so far a lot of the VC games I'm clueless about. (Ice Climber, Space Harrier, for example). Rather than pay and download everything, I'd love some feedback on what games you have experience with...
So, what do people here recommend? If you like a VC game, can you go into a little detail about why the game is so great and what it is about?
Thanks,

That brings back memories. . . I remember when Dragon Warrior came out, I got it free with a Nintendo Power subscription. I'm curious. . . those of you that have a widescreen tv, are the VC games scaled, or do they have the black bars on the side ?
Is there a list of games available on the VC anywhere ?

So far i've got...
1.Sonic (Genesis)
2. Super mario Brothers (NES)
going to get....
Super Mario World
Donkey Kong Country
I'd like to see:
-the original Contra
-one of those TMNT side scrolling co-op games
It's a really cool service. a little pricey, but great.

Too bad they're sold out everywhere, unlike that PS3. . .

Europe got Ocarina of Time today... Guess America will follow on monday. Too bad I have it already on the WW bonus disc. Otherwise 1000 Wii points is not too shabby.

Ice Climber is pretty fun, about 4 of us were playing it a ton yesterday. I had it back in the 80s and it was one of my favorite games! You can play it here: vNES
But I recommend it on the Wii.
I also got Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario World, I wound up getting the Classic Controller for that since the Game Cube one is setup too differently to play it properly.

Both of these are available via Xbox Live and they are all that and a bag of chips.

I've got Super Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time. Both good games, I've never had any Nintendo system before the Wii so this is all new to me, I am playing Zelda Twilight Princess at the moment though, and was surprised just how similar in gameplay Ocarina is!!

It'll be much easier if you just comply.
