I just ordered an in-stock Superdrive iMac from Outpost.com w/free ground shipping. They also have the Combo model.

Wonderful.

Fry's Electronics and Outpost.com are now one in the same. I refuse to support Fry's Electronics, and thus, I have suspended all purchasing from Outpost.com. Even if they use independant warehouses, supporting one is supporting the other. It's too bad, actually. Outpost.com was one of my favorite places to buy things on the Internet.

what;s wrong with fry's? They are no different than any other super store electronics place. Best buy and circuit city are just as bad.

Not to hijack this thread, but I had a great experience with Outpost. That company is the only reason I'm typing this on an 800 iMac right now. I ordered, paid with the Apple Loan, and had the computer in my living room two days later. If you want an iMac and can't find one, go with Outpost and ignore the naysayers.

...and its too bad that you already own 2 flat panel iMacs and can't burn rented PS2 games. Boo Hoo. Quit trying to rain everyone's parade. It seems your opinion of Outpost, Fry's whatever is in the extreme minority. Everyone at one time has bad experiences with large chain stores. Get over it Seany.
