Usually easy, I found my son somehow got about 200 hi res photos of Homer Simpson dressed as Darth Vader on my phone. I can easily delete anything on my camera roll, but there is a "Photo Library" folder and a "Pictures" folder on there, and though I can click "edit" and highlight all of them, it only allows me to share or transfer them, but not delete. I've connected to my mac, and deleted all photo albums available, but these haven't budged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a 16gig and it's about maxed out.

Thanks

Backup you iPhone first then go to Photos Tab & unselect sync photos.
Unplug the iPhone and quit iTunes.
On your iPhone go to Settings>General>Usage> (wait for Storage to show) &
scroll down & tap Show all Apps.
Then click on Photos & Camera> (now you should see the list)
Camera Roll, Photo Library, Photo Stream:
Swipe right to left on the Photo Library KB to bring up Delete then Tap Delete.

This may take 2 or more attempts to work.

Thanks - just tried many times. I click on delete, but nothing happens. Same with photo stream. More than a gig of Star Wars/Halo/Homer ...

How have you "deleted all photo albums available" from the Mac?

Have you checked to see if iTunes is syncing some odd iPhoto album?

Hi,

Backup your phone first and then connect it to your laptop/pc. Look for the photos that you want to delete and delete them, this should work if everything that you have tried hasn't worked for you.

Cheers!
